We carry out a range of nutrition intervention studies.

Metabolomics

Metabolomics is the analysis of metabolites in biological samples.

We have a range of cutting edge metabolomics technologies including: 600 MHZ NMR machine, LC-qTOF MS, GC-qTOF-MS, GC-MS and QTRAP 6500+ LC-MS/MS system.

As part of a HRB KEDS project, we have contributed to updating the Human Metabolome Database, HMDB.

Bioactive Ingredients

We screen compounds for their use in glycaemic control.

Phenotyping

We have the ability to perform phenotypic analysis for personalised nutrition.
